Role Overview

The Sr. Product Manager Policy & Governance will own the execution roadmap for a core product area. This role focuses on enabling enterprise customers to manage organizational risk, enforce internal usage policies, and ensure regulatory compliance across their Smartsheet deployment. You will be the key leader in platform governance, working closely with engineering, UX, legal, security, and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the long-term vision for policy enforcement and governance.
• Own the execution roadmap for retention, deletion, and data controls.
• Serve as the primary product owner for corporate and AI governance, data privacy, and internal policy requirements.
• Collaborate with Legal and Security teams on regulatory and policy challenges.
• Analyse market trends and customer feedback to inform strategic product decisions.
• Represent governance capabilities with customers and partners.
• Mentor team members in engineering and design on technical excellence.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of product management experience in SaaS or enterprise software.
• 2+ years in governance, compliance, or information management product management.
• Deep technical understanding of data lifecycle management, compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record in cross-functional team collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills and customer focus.
• Eligibility to work in India and fluency in English.
