Overview

The Clinical AI Data Specialist (CADS) is part of the Machine Learning Research Science (MLRS) team at SmarterDx. This role focuses on generating high quality clinical examples and labels for evaluating and training machine learning models, blending clinical expertise with data innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical expertise to build datasets for evaluating generative AI hallucinations.
  • Develop reward modeling datasets for various clinical text generation tasks.
  • Collaborate on designing, testing, and iterating data labeling and annotation software.
  • Leverage AI/ML to improve quality and efficiency in data labeling.
  • Use basic technical skills including Python and data manipulation tools.

Qualifications

  • Direct clinical practice experience working with physicians on patient care.
  • Basic prompt engineering and Python skills.
  • Experience with data manipulation tools such as CSV, SQL, and statistical calculations.
  • Desire and capacity to learn new technical skills in software development, machine learning, and data science.

Nice To Haves

Experience in data science, machine learning, deep learning, software engineering, statistical inference, and experimental design.
