Primary Duties / Responsibilities
The Site Supervisor & Lead Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating site activities at assigned locations.
- Provide leadership and supervision to the SMA team at assigned sites.
- Plan and coordinate site O&M/maintenance schedules.
- Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and analyze site equipment including inverters, DC arrays, AC collectors, MV equipment, and substations.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of PV plant equipment and related technologies.
- Maintain familiarity with applicable local and national safety and electrical codes.
- Operate plant systems using SCADA and other remote monitoring tools.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience preferred).
- At least 5 years’ experience in electrical, electronic, and network communications.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Prior experience in the solar energy industry is strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of solar and/or alternative energy markets.
- Understanding of National Electric Code(s) and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English; German/Spanish a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as needed.

Additional Information
