Position Overview
The Regional Service Dispatcher is responsible for scheduling Field Service labor for both internal Field Service Engineers (FSEs) and external Service Providers, supporting SMA America’s Warranty and Non-Warranty service operations. This fast-paced role requires coordination with RCC and MV teams, ensuring accurate scheduling and customer service execution.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
- Assign and schedule service repair activities using Salesforce planning tools.
- Align parts availability with field resources for timely execution.
- Manage priority service levels for Key Accounts and communicate scheduling changes.
- Monitor active service cases to ensure milestones and timelines are met.
- Coordinate dispatch for Medium Voltage service and escalate as needed.
- Collaborate with RCC Technical teams to confirm service readiness and field preparation.
- Verify contractor documentation and monitor parts transfer between Salesforce and SAP.
- Ensure accurate handling of warranty claims and supplier escalations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in business, logistics, or technical field.
- Experience in Field Service, Dispatch, or Service Operations.
- Strong customer service skills in a dynamic, multi-priority environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and service-related systems.
- Renewable Energy and Medium Voltage experience is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior dispatching or service coordination experience.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and service ticketing systems.
- Exposure to Medium Voltage workflows and regulated service environments.
- Experience working with internal teams and external service providers.
