Primary Duties / Responsibilities

The Site Supervisor & Lead Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating site activities at assigned locations.

  • Provide leadership and supervision to the SMA team at assigned sites.
  • Plan and coordinate site O&M/maintenance schedules.
  • Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and analyze site equipment including inverters, DC arrays, AC collectors, MV equipment, and substations.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of PV plant equipment and related technologies.
  • Maintain familiarity with applicable local and national safety and electrical codes.
  • Operate plant systems using SCADA and other remote monitoring tools.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience preferred).
  • At least 5 years’ experience in electrical, electronic, and network communications.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in the solar energy industry is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of solar and/or alternative energy markets.
  • Understanding of National Electric Code(s) and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German/Spanish a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as needed.

Additional Information
