About the role
About Sledge
Sledge is the AI-powered operating system for construction businesses. We replace the fragmented stack of tools contractors rely on — project management, accounting, documents, invoices, compliance — with one unified system that runs the entire construction office automatically. We are currently onboarding our first wave of beta contractors: real, active tradespeople who will use Sledge in their day-to-day operations and help us build the right product. In exchange for your participation, you receive free access to Sledge Core Office (valued at $599/month) for the full duration of the beta program.Role Description
We are looking for an active General Contractor to join Sledge's founding beta program. You will continue running your own projects and business exactly as you do today — managing budgets, overseeing teams, coordinating subs and vendors. The difference is that you will handle your back-office operations through Sledge instead of your current mix of tools. Your real-world use of the platform is how we make it better. What You'll Do
- Continue managing your own construction projects from start to finish
- Use Sledge as your central platform for job records, documents, invoices, and workflows
- Replace at least one existing back-office tool with Sledge during the beta period
- Give honest, direct feedback on what works and what doesn't
- Participate in periodic check-ins with the Sledge team (light time commitment)
