About the Role

Slalom is seeking a visionary AI Strategist to lead the development and execution of AI-driven strategies that unlock value for clients. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor by blending technical expertise with business acumen to design scalable AI solutions aligned with client goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead AI discovery sessions with clients to assess challenges and AI readiness.
  • Design and deliver AI strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals.
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases in various functional areas.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, designers, and domain experts.
  • Keep clients informed of emerging AI trends such as LLMs and generative AI.
  • Develop client-facing content including white papers and executive briefings.
  • Advise on AI governance, responsible AI practices, and regulatory implications.
  • Support proposal development and pitch materials for AI consulting opportunities.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years in consulting, strategy, or innovation roles with 2+ years in AI.
  • Proven record in developing and executing AI strategies in a client-facing role.
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies and platforms like Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, and OpenAI.
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Experience in leading workshops and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry experience in sectors like financial services, healthcare, or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of ethical AI practices and global AI regulations.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Python, or data modeling tools.
  • Experience with AI operating models and digital transformation initiatives.

Slalom is a human business and technology consulting company with 52 offices worldwide. The role offers competitive compensation with a base salary range of $122,000 to $255,000 plus potential annual bonuses, along with a suite of benefits including time off, 401(k) with match, and health coverage.
