Your Responsibilities as a DevOps Engineer

• Develop features and improvements to services and products securely and tested, following company guidelines.
• Draft technical documentation for solutions and processes.
• Resolve high-scope and complex technical problems efficiently.
• Ensure best practices for high-scale services and products, maintaining code style and necessary maintainability.
• Troubleshoot performance and optimization issues, particularly at scale, demonstrating the ability to diagnose and prevent them.
• Advise and guide team members to help them develop their technical skills, removing obstacles to their autonomy and agility.
• Add value to the team and effectively communicate your ideas to your area leader.
• Be available to resolve critical problems as needed, ensuring system stability.
• Collaborate to address support activities required by our internal areas.

What You'll Bring

• Indispensable: Advanced English (B2 or higher). Portuguese is desirable.
• Experience in Development with Ruby on Rails or Node.JS.
• +4 years of experience working with GCP (GKE, CloudRun, CloudSQL, Memorystore, Pub/Sub, VPN, Compute Engine, IAM, etc.).
• Mid or senior-level experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with environment variables in container instances and tools (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Experience working with Kafka and/or Pub/Sub.
• Development and deployment of Infrastructure as Code (Cloud-independent tools preferred).
• Scripting proficiency with Bash and Python.
• Solid knowledge and practice of software engineering, including best practices for the full software development lifecycle (coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations).
• Experience with operating systems, Linux file systems, proxies, and web servers.
• Hands-on experience in writing and distributing high-quality large-scale distributed systems and client-server architectures.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical ideas and collaborate with both technical and non-technical peers.
• Desirables: Experience creating microservices and APIs.
• Knowledge of JSON, TypeScript, Node.JS.
• Knowledge in security and compliance.
• Knowledge of common algorithms and data structures.
