Job Description

About the Blockchain Engineering Intern Role at SKXYWTF

World Trade Factory (SKXYWTF) is pioneering next-generation digital infrastructure at the intersection of blockchain, AI, and global markets. We are seeking a Blockchain Engineering Intern to contribute to the design, development, and testing of smart-contract-based systems and supporting infrastructure within an educational, research-driven, and production-oriented environment. This role prioritizes engineering discipline, security, and robust architecture over speculative hype.

What You'll Work On

  • Design and develop smart contracts on Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains.
  • Implement and test ERC standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155 as needed).
  • Build token utility and staking logic, focusing on testnet development and security.
  • Integrate smart contracts with off-chain systems, including APIs, indexers, and dashboards.
  • Write automated tests and conduct fundamental security reviews.
  • Support on-chain analytics, event indexing, and data pipelines.
  • Document contract behavior, assumptions, and potential upgrade paths.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong proficiency in Solidity and fundamental understanding of EVM.
  • Solid grasp of Ethereum architecture, gas mechanics, and transaction processes.
  • Experience with smart contract testing frameworks like Hardhat, Foundry, or Truffle.
  • Familiarity with web3 libraries such as ethers.js or web3.js.
  • Knowledge of common smart contract vulnerabilities including reentrancy, overflow, and access control issues.
  • Comfortable working with Git for version control and participating in code reviews.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Layer 2 scaling solutions (e.g., Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon).
  • Familiarity with tokenomics modeling, including emissions, incentives, and staking design.
  • Exposure to on-chain analytics tools like The Graph, Dune, or custom indexers.
  • Backend development experience (Node.js, Python).
  • Prior exposure to security auditing or formal verification processes.

What SKXYWTF Cares About

  • Demonstrated engineering discipline.
  • Clear documentation and reproducibility in your work.
  • A security-first mindset in all development.
  • Ability to reason about incentives and edge cases in blockchain systems.
  • Comfort working within early-stage, research-heavy environments.

For Students / Interns (OPT / CPT Eligible)

  • Project-based, academically aligned work.
  • Focus on testnet and simulation-driven development.
  • No involvement in fundraising, token sales, or solicitation activities.
  • Responsibilities directly aligned with computer science, engineering, or blockchain coursework.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work on real blockchain infrastructure, not just demos.
  • Mentorship and exposure to cutting-edge AI and macro research systems.
  • Flexible and remote-friendly work structure.
  • Potential for growth into long-term or paid roles as SKXYWTF scales.
