Role and Responsibilities
The Aesthetic Medical Assistant - Support will serve as a crucial liaison between the front office and healthcare providers, ensuring a smooth and timely client flow. This role is primarily responsible for back-office functions, including client preparation, supporting healthcare providers, and maintaining clinic operations to ensure high-quality client care. Reporting to the Clinic Manager, you will assist with provider support assignments to maximize clinic productivity. Your responsibilities will also extend to assisting with rebooking appointments and product sales to enhance operational efficiency.
What You Will Do
- Provide exceptional service to clients and team members.
- Support Aesthetic Specialists with patient intake, treatment preparation, and pre/post-care.
- Prepare and clean examination rooms and equipment.
- Manage medical supply inventory and ensure exam rooms are properly stocked.
- Attend monthly trainings and meetings to stay updated on industry advancements.
- Gain knowledge of medical-grade skincare products and services.
- Assist with other assigned duties and potential travel to other locations for training.
- Ensure all charting and client consents are completed accurately.
- Assist with social media content creation as directed.
- Engage in product sales and rebooking appointments during client sessions.
What You Will Bring
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous work experience as a Medical Assistant.
- 1+ years of customer service or sales experience; aesthetic setting experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with clients, peers, and management.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining client focus and flexibility.
- Strong team player with the ability to take initiative.
- Proficiency in email and Microsoft Word.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
Physical Requirements
This role involves prolonged periods of standing, bending, stooping, and repetitive use of hands and arms for tasks such as touching, handling, and controlling objects. It also includes reaching, talking, and hearing. Occasional periods may involve sitting, crawling, kneeling, climbing, balancing, and pushing/pulling heavy objects or machinery.
