Role Overview:

We are looking for a Cyber Security Intern who is interested in securing systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and understanding modern security practices. This role offers hands-on exposure to security monitoring, risk assessment, and basic ethical hacking concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor systems and applications for potential security threats
• Assist in vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing activities
• Analyze logs and identify unusual or suspicious activities
• Support implementation of security controls and best practices
• Assist in incident response and documentation of security events
• Ensure compliance with security policies and guidelines
• Research emerging threats and security trends
• Maintain documentation of security processes and findings

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, IT, or a related field
• Basic understanding of cyber security principles and concepts
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals
• Familiarity with operating systems (Linux/Windows)
• Understanding of common vulnerabilities and threats
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to cyber security tools, labs, or coursework
• Basic knowledge of ethical hacking concepts
• Familiarity with security frameworks and protocols
