Role Overview

The Technical Customer Support Specialist will be the front-line for customer engagements, ensuring inquiries are addressed accurately and efficiently using Zendesk. This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate complex concepts into clear solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming calls, chats, and tickets using Zendesk.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex technical terms in an understandable manner.
  • Ensure tickets are tagged, triaged and addressed within SLA limits.
  • Maintain content and documentation for customer support.
  • Participate in ongoing training to grow skills and expertise.
  • Support strategic business initiatives and special projects as required.

Qualifications

  • 1 - 3 years customer-facing experience, preferably in a tech startup.
  • Technical know-how in Windows and Linux configuration and management.
  • Familiarity with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Certifications in Windows Server, VMWare, Azure, AWS, or related fields are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Effective communication skills for various audience levels including leadership.
  • Passion for learning and growth within Skillable.

Salary Range

The base salary is $45,000 - $55,000 annually, determined by level, skills, qualifications, and financial planning.
