About SKELOR

SKELOR is building infrastructure for AI model testing, evaluation, and human-in-the-loop quality systems. We partner with AI companies to enhance reliability, monitoring, and structured evaluation workflows across both automated and human review layers.

We are seeking a Founding CTO to architect and build this platform from the ground up, working alongside our existing founders. This is an early-stage, high-ownership role designed for an individual committed to long-term growth and impact.

Role Overview – Founding CTO, AI Tech

As the Founding CTO, you will:

• Design and own the complete technical architecture.
• Build the initial MVP and core platform systems.
• Lead infrastructure decisions and define the technical roadmap.
• Establish engineering standards and processes.
• Collaborate directly with founders on product direction.
• Gradually build and manage a small engineering team.
• Ensure scalability, security, and system reliability.

You will be responsible for transforming a strong business vision into a scalable, production-ready technical platform.

What We Are Looking For –

We prioritize capability and ownership over years of experience. While experience is not compulsory, strong technical depth is essential.

Required Skills & Capabilities – Technical

• Strong programming skills: Python required.
• Backend architecture & system design expertise: Proven ability to design robust systems.
• Experience building scalable APIs and distributed systems: Track record of developing high-performance, resilient systems.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure: AWS/GCP/Azure proficiency.
• Database architecture knowledge: Expertise in designing efficient database solutions.
• DevOps fundamentals: Understanding of continuous integration/deployment and operational best practices.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving ability: Aptitude for identifying and resolving complex technical issues.

AI Infrastructure Understanding

• Familiarity with LLM systems and evaluation pipelines: Knowledge of large language model architectures and their assessment.
• Understanding of automated testing frameworks: Experience with frameworks for reliable AI model validation.
• Exposure to monitoring/logging systems: Familiarity with tools for system observability.
• Knowledge of human-in-the-loop workflows: Understanding of processes involving human feedback in AI systems.
• Metrics-driven engineering mindset: An approach to development guided by performance data.

Leadership & Mindset –

• Comfortable working with non-technical founders.
• Able to operate effectively in early-stage ambiguity.
• High accountability and ownership.
• Strong English communication (verbal & written).
• Ability to work under pressure and at a fast pace.
• Willing to take calculated risks.
• Long-term commitment mindset.
• Collaborative and team-oriented.
• Able to mentor and manage junior engineers.
