Job Description

As a Service Advisor at SIXT Van & Truck, based at the Gateshead Depot, you will work on the Central Hire Desk. You will resolve customer queries related to breakdowns, ensuring efficient repairs, compliance, and excellent customer service. This role is ideal for experienced service advisors and for professionals seeking a lateral move, including individuals from hospitality, financial services, hotel, sales, or travel backgrounds.

The Role

Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing and responding to customer breakdown queries.
  • Completing administration related to customer queries and vehicle maintenance.
  • Managing daily maintenance of the vehicle fleet.
  • Assisting customers with queries and ensuring excellent service.
  • Monitoring supplier costs, maintenance budgets, and V.O.R reports.
  • Updating fleet maintenance records daily and ensuring vehicle compliance.
  • Collaborating with other departments to follow processes.

Applicants Should Have

  • Significant experience in a high-volume, fast-paced Service Advisor role.
  • Outstanding customer service and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail.
