Your Role
We are seeking a Product Designer to join our team at SiteGround, focusing on our products. This role blends UX and UI design, allowing you to contribute to intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user experiences. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and fellow designers to create user-centered design solutions that enhance functionality and usability. Your work will help shape interfaces that not only look great but also provide seamless experiences for online store owners and website creators.
Your Responsibilities
- Design: Contribute to the design process by creating user-friendly and visually appealing solutions that align with user needs and business goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to ensure cohesive and impactful product designs.
- User-Centered Design: Apply user research insights, personas, and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions, focusing on creating seamless user experiences.
- Prototyping and Wireframing: Develop prototypes, wireframes, and mockups that clearly communicate design ideas and can be translated into functional interfaces.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices to continually improve design skills and outcomes.
- Design Consistency: Support the maintenance of the design system by adhering to established guidelines and contributing to platform-wide consistency.
Our Expectations
- Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer, with a portfolio that highlights your design work and problem-solving approach.
- Figma Skills: Proficiency in Figma and its application in collaborative design workflows.
- Design Enthusiasm: A passion for design, with a commitment to staying current on industry trends and practices.
- UX/UI Understanding: Solid knowledge of UX/UI principles, responsive design, and web design basics.
- Design Fundamentals: Familiarity with typography, color theory, and creating visually appealing, user-friendly designs.
- User-Centered Design: Understanding of user-centered design processes, including planning user research, usability testing, and iterative prototyping.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring that designs meet high-quality standards.
- Problem-Solving: A solutions-oriented mindset, capable of tackling design challenges effectively.
- Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability: Comfort with working in a dynamic environment and tackling new challenges.
- Feedback: Receptiveness to feedback and willingness to iterate designs based on input from stakeholders and users.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills, enabling you to manage your tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience contributing to inclusive design solutions.
- Familiarity with creating customizable templates or themes.

- Exposure to designing drag-and-drop interfaces or onboarding flows tailored to various user personas.
