Embedded Software Engineer at Sioux Technologies

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will develop and test software for high-tech products and machines. In this role, you will support our clients in the semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment industries, mainly in the Randstad area, with smart, sustainable, and reliable software solutions. Your software expertise plays a crucial role in bringing these high-tech solutions to life.

From our office in Delft and at our clients’ sites, you will work on challenging projects that take technology to the next level. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing embedded software in C++ for advanced high-tech systems
  • Building and optimizing applications on Linux-based platforms
  • Designing modular and maintainable software architecture
  • Developing graphical interfaces using Qt for machine and system control
  • Debugging and analyzing complex embedded systems
  • Collaborating with electronics and mechatronics engineers in multidisciplinary teams
  • Contributing to system architecture and technical roadmaps

What do you bring to the table?

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering or similar
  • 2-3 years of experience in technical software development
  • Recent experience with C++, Qt, Linux, and embedded environments
  • Understanding of software architecture and design patterns
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of mechatronics is a plus
