Position Overview

Our customers are at the forefront of some of the most interesting data in the world, using SingleStore to push boundaries daily. The Cloud Database Support Engineer role is engineered to go beyond typical technical support, diving deep into database internals, memory allocators, Linux configurations, and SQL query diagnostics.

Role and Responsibilities

This role involves providing email and live technical support to enterprise customers, identifying and reproducing product issues, performing QA, and submitting detailed bug reports. You will collaborate with software developers, sales engineers, and technical account managers, while also working on streamlining support processes and enhancing documentation.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of advanced customer-facing technical support experience.
  • Experience with MySQL or MySQL-like databases and SQL Query Optimization.
  • Solid sysadmin/QA/Testing skills with hands-on Linux expertise.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Understanding of distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
