About the Role
The Digital Marketing Technology Specialist bridges the gap between Marketing and IT, ensuring that the marketing vision is effectively translated into technical implementation. This role requires deep knowledge of digital marketing practices and strong technical acumen to guide teams in adopting digital tools and data for campaign success and personalization.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and recommend new MarTech (analytics, automation, advertising) tools.
- Implement and configure marketing technologies including CMS, CDP, CRM, marketing automation, and analytics.
- Ensure integration with enterprise systems for unified data flows.
- Maintain marketing data quality, compliance, and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Support campaign execution, tracking, SEO optimization and personalization via A/B testing.
- Setup dashboards, analyze KPIs and provide actionable insights.
- Train teams on MarTech tools and document best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate marketing needs into technical requirements.
- Pilot new marketing technologies including AI-driven tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing or a related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience. A solid grasp of digital marketing tactics (SEO, SEM, content, analytics, social, email) and proficiency in MarTech platforms (Salesforce, Adobe, Google) is essential. Technical skills in scripting (SQL, HTML/CSS/JS) and experience editing code for tags or pixels are required. Certifications such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Salesforce are highly valued.
