About The Role
We’re looking for a Junior Equity Analyst to join our team, you’ll be helping us research companies and markets to be used in different parts of the business or products.
What You’ll Do
- Research listed companies across global markets
- Analyse financial statements, business models, and competitive positioning
- Identify key narratives, risks, and long-term drivers
- Write clear, structured company analysis for a retail investor audience
- Fact-check and refine existing research content
What We’re Looking For
- Strong research skills and attention to detail
- Ability to critically think and uncover insights others can’t
- Excellent written communicator - able to find innovative ways to explain concepts
- Curiosity about businesses, markets, and investing
- Ability to work independently and proactively
Required Skills
- Solid understanding of financial statements and valuation concepts
- Basic knowledge of programming (ideally Python + SQL)
- Experience using AI agents to assist with work

About The Internship
- Reporting directly to the CEO/ Founder but working with some different teams
- This is a paid internship - 10-20 hours per week
- Minimum of 3 months commitment
- Simply Wall St is a predominantly remote business, we have offices in Sydney, but you’ll need to be comfortable working remotely
- You’ll bring your own laptop
- If possible you’ll join all remote and in person team events
