About the Role
Demystified is a financial education company on a mission to help first-generation wealth builders — particularly women — take control of their financial futures. We’re seeking an experienced, client-ready Virtual Paraplanner to lead 1:1 financial strategy sessions for our premium clients. You’ll serve as the financial planning expert behind each session, delivering personalized, actionable guidance in a warm, empowering environment that reflects our brand. This is a contract role with strong potential for ongoing engagement as our programs grow.
What You’ll Do
- Lead 90-minute virtual financial strategy calls with clients on a scheduled basis.
- Review client financial intake forms and pre-call questionnaires before each session.
- Build or update financial plans inside RightCapital based on client data and goals.
- Cover areas such as cash flow, net worth, investing, retirement, tax strategy, insurance, and estate planning basics.
- Deliver clear, confident, and motivating guidance consistent with Demystified’s financial empowerment tone.
- Complete same-day session summaries and recommended next steps for each client.
- Manage a back-to-back call schedule on designated session days.
- Collaborate with the Demystified team on client follow-up and experience continuity.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 2+ years of financial planning or paraplanning experience.
- Proficiency in RightCapital or willingness to learn quickly.
- Strong understanding of personal finance strategy (cash flow, investing, retirement, tax basics).
- Comfortable managing 4–6 back-to-back virtual calls in a day.
- Excellent communication skills — warm, clear, and jargon-free.
- Reliable home office setup with stable internet.
- Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality.
Preferred
- CFP® designation or currently in progress.
- Experience working with women, first-gen wealth builders, or underserved communities.
- Background in wealth management or financial coaching.
- Familiarity with financial education programs or online communities.
- Comfort with tools like Zoom, Notion, or Slack for team coordination.
Compensation
Contract / 1099 engagement — flexible structure based on your availability and our session volume. Compensation available as an hourly rate or monthly retainer for candidates who can commit to a consistent session cadence. Rate is competitive and commensurate with experience ($25,000 – $75,000 annually).
