About the Role
Simplilearn is seeking a Senior Manager of SEO to lead our SEO and ASO efforts. This role is responsible for driving organic traffic and revenue growth through strategic planning, technical audits, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Manage SEO for blogs and the SkillUp platform, and oversee ASO.
- Set quarterly performance targets for the team to ensure growth through SEO initiatives.
- Develop and execute SEO strategies aligned with business goals to drive organic traffic and revenue.
- Conduct technical audits of the Simplilearn website and implement technical SEO recommendations.
- Develop and manage international SEO strategies, including hreflang tags and content localization.
- Collaborate with web developers and the product team on technical architecture and website redesigns.
- Work closely with the Content Marketing team to boost traffic for free resources.
- Stay updated on the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates.
- Improve app rankings on Google Play Store and Apple Store, increasing non-brand installs.
- Monitor, analyze data, and derive actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SEO.
- Demonstrated experience managing SEO for product and content pages, focusing on organic visits.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering SEO plans in fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics as they relate to SEO.
- Proven success in increasing organic traffic and conversions.
- Prior experience in technical SEO and working with Product and Engineering teams.
- Solid comprehension of search engine ranking factors, algorithms, site architectures, and strategies.
- Expertise in tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Tableau.
- Excellent team management, planning, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead by example with strong people skills.
