We’re seeking a dynamic, people-oriented HR Generalist to support HR operations across the Americas region. This role is based at our New York headquarters and reports to the Director of HR Operations and Analytics. This role is part of a global matrixed HR team, which provides a supportive professional network and unique opportunities to learn, stretch one's capabilities, and share knowledge. The ideal candidate possesses a knack for problem-solving, curiosity about data, and a passion for operational success. You’ll partner with a team of HRBPs, providing local site leadership support and leading a variety of optimization initiatives across HR processes.

As An HR Generalist At Similarweb, You Will

  • Support employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, internal mobility, and exits with data entry and letter preparation
  • Maintain data accuracy across our HR systems
  • Enable HRBP and other HR stakeholders on the company's HR processes
  • Oversee the relationship with our co-employer (ADP)
  • Own all operational and administrative aspects of US-based local HR processes (e.g. payroll reports, enrollment plans, relocations, etc.)
  • Operate as the source of information for all US HR-related inquiries
  • Document the knowledge related to local policies, regulations, and labor laws
  • Prepare and maintain formal policies, handbooks, and any other employee-related documents
  • Collaborate with other functions on delivering excellent service to company employees
  • Initiate and support HR programs including merit cycles, performance reviews, employee surveys, etc
  • Lead initiatives to streamline both local and global HR processes by optimizing HRIS infrastructure, processes, and policies
  • Collaborate with other functions to improve employee services
  • Initiate internal HROps projects to optimize the team's day-to-day

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position in New York City is $75,000 to $127,000 + benefits including: medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K plan, potential equity, employee stock purchase plan and paid sick and parental leave. Individual compensation is based upon a number of factors, including qualifications and relevant experience. The base salary range above is for the New York City metro area, and could vary for candidates in other locations.
