Technical Product Owner at SilentEight
At SilentEight, we develop our own AI-based products to combat financial crimes such as money laundering, terrorism financing, and systemic corruption. We work with major international financial institutions like Standard Chartered Bank and HSBC to create a safer world.
Role Overview
This Technical Product Owner, located in Poland, will lead product development by creating precise user stories and acceptance criteria with Project Managers and development teams. The role involves translating client requirements into technical specifications, serving as the main client contact, and supporting the product roadmap. You will ensure stakeholder communication, validate product quality, and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- User Story Development: Collaborate with Project Managers and development teams to draft actionable user stories and define acceptance criteria.
- Requirements Analysis: Interpret client requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Client Interaction: Act as the primary liaison for clients, addressing inquiries and providing product details.
- Product Roadmap: Assist in developing and updating the product roadmap in line with business goals.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and provide regular updates.
- Quality Assurance: Verify that product features meet acceptance criteria and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze feedback to drive product enhancements and development practices.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years in a similar client-facing product role with proven experience in drafting user stories, managing backlogs, and working with enterprise clients, particularly in the banking/financial services domain. Experience with backend B2B applications is a plus.
Technical Skills: Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies, ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications, familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence, and basic knowledge of integration, APIs, and product configuration.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, analytical thinking, organization, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Other: Must be comfortable engaging directly with clients in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
