The Role: Data Engineer

Are you looking to be a part of a growing global organization? We are seeking a highly experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in modern data technologies and big data environments. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and architectures, particularly within GCP ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Develop and optimize data models (conceptual and logical) and ensure data integrity and security.
• Implement and manage GCP-based data solutions (BigQuery, GCS, Cloud Functions, Composer, Pub/Sub).
• Configure and maintain real-time and batch data processing systems.
• Support data analysis and machine learning initiatives by preparing high-quality datasets.
• Optimize system performance through testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with Data scientists, Data analytics and engineering.
• Gather data from multiple sources and prepare it for analysis.
• Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to identify trends and patterns.
• Develop machine learning models and predictive algorithms to solve business problems.
• Use statistical techniques to validate findings and ensure accuracy.
• Expertise in SQL, Python, ERD, GCP (All GCP services, GCP adapter, especially BigQuery, GCS, Cloud Function, Composer), DBT with active hands-on experience in the last 3~5 years.
• Possess the knowledge of Modern Data Technology released in the last 2~3 years.
• Design and optimize conceptual and logical database models.
• Analyze system requirements, implementing data strategies, and ensuring the efficiency and security.
• Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements.
• In-depth understanding of database structure principles.
• Expertise in implementing and maintaining data pipelines.
• Deep knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques.
• 10+ years in data modeling with 3+ years in Big data (100TB+).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools.
• Pub-sub setup/configuration steps. Use case where pub-sub is used.
