Analytics Engineer - Data Governance & Product Focus

This role sits at the intersection of Data Governance, Analytics Engineering, and Product Management. You will be responsible for ensuring that the data flowing from global streaming platforms (SVOD), social media (YouTube/TikTok), and web properties is accurate, governed, and ready for executive-level decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Integrity & Pipeline Oversight: Manage and maintain data pipelines across multi-platform digital ecosystems (DTC, YouTube, Social), ensuring system health and consistent data flow into our cloud warehouse.
• Technical QA & Root Cause Analysis: Perform deep-dive validation of data across dashboards and source systems. Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with IT and Data Engineering to resolve "breaks" in the data chain.
• Governance & Standardization: Define and document metric logic, business rules, and standardized definitions. Own the data dictionary and ensure consistency across all reporting tools.
• Metadata Architecture: Manage relational data structures (e.g., Airtable) to ensure accurate mapping of series titles, content tags, and historical metadata across systems.
• Dashboard Development: Build and enhance advanced visualizations in BI tools (Domo/Tableau) to translate complex datasets into scalable, user-friendly data products.
• Infrastructure Monitoring: Proactively monitor reporting infrastructure, implement automated alerts for data quality issues, and manage release readiness for new data features.

The Ideal Candidate

Technical Stack: Proficiency in SQL is highly preferred. Deep experience with Snowflake (or similar cloud warehouses) and an understanding of data pipeline orchestration/APIs is required.

Platform Expertise: Direct experience managing data from YouTube Analytics and Social platforms. Experience with Subscription/Billing data (SVOD) is a major plus.

BI Mastery: Expert-level capability in Domo or Tableau to build sophisticated, automated dashboards.

Process Mindset: Strong background in Data Governance—you believe that data is only as good as its documentation (Data Dictionaries, Workflows, etc.).

Communication: Ability to translate complex technical "data breaks" into clear status updates for non-technical stakeholders.
