As a Terminal & Pipeline Operator at Signature Aviation, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of valves and manifolds during vessel off-loading and product receipt from various supplies, including pipelines, tankers, and barges. This role requires strict adherence to company procedures and USCG regulations, ensuring all operations meet the highest safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for the Terminal & Pipeline Operator include:
- Operating valves and manifolds for vessel off-loading, ensuring all required company and USCG procedures are meticulously followed.
- Operating valves and manifolds for product receipt from supplies via pipeline tanker or barge deliveries.
- Conducting personnel training to maintain operational excellence and safety standards.
- Maintaining accurate department operations reports and records.
- Actively participating in emergency response drills to ensure preparedness.
- Performing essential fuel quality control testing.
- Executing janitorial and ground maintenance functions to uphold facility standards.
- Strictly complying with the station's attendance and tardiness policy.
These functions are essential and may be performed in varying weather conditions and environmental factors such as precipitation, extreme temperatures, jet engine fumes, dust, and noise, both inside and outside near stationary and moving aircraft.
Qualifications
To qualify for the Terminal & Pipeline Operator position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Possess the ability to pass comprehensive background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, and maintain an airport security badge, along with insurability by Signature Aviation's policies.
- Be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
- Maintain a valid Driver's License with a clear driving abstract for the past 3 years and other FAA Airport required identification/seals or authorization.
- Hold a High School Diploma or general education (GED), or possess one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrate the ability to read and write in English and perform basic math calculations, specifically comprehending measurements for fuel storage and consumption levels.
- Be able to lift 50-100 lbs on occasion.
- Provide necessary documentation to apply for and receive a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card, which requires verification of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status by the TSA.
Compensation
The starting pay rate for this position is $25.33 per hour, in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. Pay ranges may vary based on factors such as skill sets, education, shift worked, responsibilities, seniority, geographical market, merit, output, productivity, prior training or experience, and travel.
