Functional Manager - Power Utility Design

Location: Hybrid – Portland, OR (with initial training in Perrysburg, OH)

About the Opportunity

This position is for experienced managers with previous personnel management experience. You will be expected to manage design supervisors and engineering staff in utility design projects while overseeing performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and team improvement plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee personnel management and performance reviews.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma required; post-secondary education a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in engineering/operations/project management.
  • At least 3 years of direct people management experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Strong skills in team building, conflict management, and leadership.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to use a computer, analyze data and communicate in group settings for prolonged periods.
