Administrative Assistant
Sierra Health & Wellness Centers is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team in Walnut Creek, CA. This is a full-time position with flexible shifts, offering a competitive hourly wage between $22.00 and $27.00.
Job Description
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for understanding State and local regulations relevant to Sierra Health & Wellness Centers' operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Key duties include managing incoming calls, providing information, taking messages, and directing calls to the appropriate individuals.
Essential Functions
- Answering phones, providing caller information, and transferring calls.
- Assisting in the implementation of Sierra Health & Wellness operating policies and procedures.
- Supporting procedures for chart note audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Greeting visitors and handling inquiries or directing them as needed.
- Processing client payments.
- Generating reports such as walk-through reports and day-to-day activity reports.
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Assisting the Office Manager with daily tasks, including ordering office supplies.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer are expected, with the ability to lift up to 15 pounds. Travel to various office or facility locations may be required.
