About the Role

Siemens is seeking a driven IT Data Insights and Project Management Intern to join its Digital Backbone initiative. In this internship, you will support IT infrastructure tasks, project delivery, data analysis, and executive reporting in a global setting.

Responsibilities

• Offer fresh perspectives and pinpoint trends for improved reporting.
• Drive involvement and ensure progress on key deliverables.
• Research and share new IT and data-related trends.
• Analyze project and operational data with appropriate tools.
• Assist in preparing executive-style reports and presentations for leadership.
• Facilitate the adoption of project management and reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor’s or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related fields; maintain strong academic performance (GPA 3.0+); and have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without the need for future visa sponsorship is required.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills And Education

Applicants should be able to bridge the gap between technical and business perspectives, have excellent communication skills, and be familiar with IT technologies. Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Knime, Python, R), reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau), database systems (SQL), and project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Trello) is advantageous.
