About the Role
We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Data Center Key Account Manager within our Building Technology Division. You will be responsible for managing OEM relationships of assigned key accounts in our industry, representing the entire Siemens Smart Infrastructure offering. Your focus will be on increasing market share and revenue growth within targeted OEM accounts, particularly Data Center OEMs, through strategic planning and execution of global key account initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Full account responsibility, acting as the primary contact for key customers alongside a global team of regional sales representatives.
- Maintain active communication with key clients, conducting regular business reviews and identifying opportunities to strengthen partnerships.
- Set targets, develop, and implement global strategies, and manage action plan execution.
- Identify and assess customer needs, defining and managing requirements in collaboration with various Siemens divisions.
- Involve customers in new product developments and manage regular product management meetings.
- Own global supply contracts, manage contractual obligations, and lead legal and commercial international frame agreement negotiations.
- Lead global account teams (functional responsibility), coordinating and managing cross-border activities.
- Oversee global account coordination and manage the Project/Opportunity pipeline development and tracking.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering results for a minimum of 10 years in progressively responsible sales roles, ideally focused on the Data Center, HVAC, and/or Building Automation Systems markets.
- A strategic approach that balances strategy, execution, and results.
- Experience in a company that manufactures and markets technically complex controls products through various distribution channels is preferred.
- Reputation for leadership and innovative approaches in complex markets, driving revenue and market share growth.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.
