Role & Responsibilities
- Update organizational security policies and technical documentation
- Collaborate with IT leaders to implement cybersecurity solutions
- Support IT infrastructure deployments for smart building automation
- Assist in vulnerability assessments and security reviews
- Work with cross-functional teams including engineering, IT, and cybersecurity
- Contribute to system modernization initiatives including cloud integration
- Maintain asset inventories and technology refresh schedules
Qualifications
Basic: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Must not graduate before September 2026, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and available for 40 hours per week for the 10-week internship. Must reside within 50 miles of Austin, TX.
Preferred: Familiarity with industry security standards (NERC CIP, CMMC, NIST, ISO27001, IEC 62443), cloud computing, AI, networking, patch management, system hardening, and virtualization. Strong communication, troubleshooting, and presentation skills.
