This particular project is situated within Siemens Smart Infrastructure, which integrates real and digital worlds across energy systems, buildings, and industries to enhance living and working environments and significantly improve efficiency and sustainability.

The Role: Azure and Security Solution Architect

As an Azure and Security Solution Architect at Siemens, you will play a crucial role in defining, implementing, and operating robust cloud infrastructure and integration scenarios. You will collaborate with consultants and business representatives in an international setting to translate requirements into secure and efficient cloud solutions. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining and enhancing the security posture of Siemens' cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Define cloud infrastructure requirements in collaboration with international consultants and business representatives.
• Design, implement, and operate integration scenarios leveraging Azure cloud services.
• Support solution architects in establishing cloud and hybrid scenarios using Logic Apps Connectors and on-premises Data Gateways.
• Adhere to and implement Siemens' cloud policies and stringent security regulations.
• Drive security conformity within projects, acting as a pivotal team member.
• Interpret security regulations, break them down into actionable user stories, and socialize them with Product Owners.
• Assist in completing essential security documentation.
• Promote security awareness proactively within the Agile Team.
• Prepare for and support security audits and penetration tests.
• Drive and ensure compliance with security conformity processes.

What You'll Bring

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in Azure Administration.
• Demonstrated previous experience working within diverse cloud environments.
• Proficiency in setting up and managing underlying infrastructure as code in Azure.
• Expertise in establishing Deployment Pipelines (CI/CD).
• Ability to set up and manage APIs effectively.
• Experience in implementing internal security measures and guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of key Azure components including Logic Apps, Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse, Azure Private Endpoints, Azure Storage Queues, Azure App Services, and Azure Service Bus.
• Understanding of Subscriptions (subscribing, defining connection strings, defining filters), Azure API Management (APIM), and core Infrastructure Concepts (Subnets, Resource Groups, Identity and Access Management).
• A strong DevOps mindset.
• Basic experience with agile IT methodologies such as SAFe or SCRUM.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Strong communication and networking abilities in an intercultural environment and across all management levels.
• A proactive approach, a passion for technology, strong teamwork skills, problem-solving capabilities, and effective interaction with various teams.
