As an Associate Project Manager Building Automation, you will work closely with project managers and supervisors to ensure successful delivery of construction projects with a focus on building automation systems.
What You Will Do
You will collaborate in project planning, scheduling and cost estimating for Building Automation and construction projects. Your role involves overseeing onsite and offsite construction activities, monitoring compliance with building and safety regulations, and acting as the main point of contact for customers to manage project delivery effectively.
- Review projects in depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
- Schedule installation, start-up, commissioning, turnover, and warranty phases.
- Deliver revenue forecasting, reporting, and margin management.
- Oversee project plans, installation supervision, and retrofit work.
- Provide technical support to sales teams in pricing and scope definition.
What You Need to Succeed
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Building Automation and BAS technology and 2+ years of project management or field experience. A strong background in building electrical and mechanical systems is critical. A related engineering degree or equivalent work experience is required. Certifications like P. Eng., LEED, CEM, or CFAA are assets. Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar software, financial acumen and strong communication skills are essential. A valid Driver's License is required for onsite projects.
Territory & Salary
This role covers Southern British Columbia. Salary ranges between 70,000 CAD and 85,000 CAD, excluding bonus and benefits.
