Role Overview: AI & Data Lead

The AI & Data Lead role at Siemens Mobility in Austria (Wien or Graz) is focused on driving AI and data initiatives. The position aligns local business needs with the global AI strategy to deliver measurable business value through innovative AI solutions and data products.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead local implementation of Siemens Mobility’s global AI and data strategy in Austria.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders from Rail Infrastructure, Rolling Stock, and Customer Services to identify priorities.
  • Develop and execute AI roadmaps that integrate global goals with local requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, ethical guidelines, and technical standards in AI projects.
  • Foster innovation and knowledge exchange between Austrian teams and global communities.
  • Oversee technical execution and coordinate AI projects with experts worldwide.
  • Monitor and report on the progress, impact, and ROI of AI initiatives.

Your Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in enterprise-level AI/ML implementations.
  • Proven track record in delivering successful AI and data solutions.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, current trends, and best practices.
  • Advantageous experience in the transport/mobility sector.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in both German and English.

Compensation & Benefits

The position offers an attractive remuneration package starting at a gross annual income of at least EUR 100,000 (all-in), with potential for overpayment based on qualifications and experience, along with additional Siemens corporate benefits.
