Vice President, Program Management – Systems & Informatics (Remote)

We are looking for an ambitious Vice President of Program Management, Systems/Informatics to join our Program Management/IBP function within the CLS BUSINESS LINE. This is a remote role, with preference for candidates on the East Coast.

About the Role

As a Vice President of Program Management, Systems/Informatics, you will be responsible for:

• Managing multiple large and complex systems projects in a regulated environment, driving the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure to achieve the strategic objectives of the Core Lab (CLS) business.
• Leading large, complex cloud-hosted informatics application projects.
• Managing a team of Program Managers and Core Team Leaders for systems/informatics projects.
• Overseeing substantial project budgets and resources.
• Ensuring successful delivery across all project phase gates, including quality and schedule.
• Managing stakeholders and providing clear communication of progress and risks to Integrated Business Planning (IBP) governance teams.
• Ensuring team compliance with Product Delivery Excellence (PDx) standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Comprehensive experience in Project Management disciplines for Medical Devices, including managing complex software, hardware, and system Product Development projects.
• Ability to assess and align projects with organizational strategy and business cases to maintain Project Value Proposition.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to develop, implement, and manage detailed project plans (timelines, resources, budgets).
• Knowledge to ensure project activities comply with FDA and other regional regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyze project constraints and risks to identify mitigations and opportunities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience working with 3rd party external partners and OEMs.
• Technical bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Life Sciences required.
• 15+ years of experience in product development project management with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
• 5+ years of experience in a regulated environment (life sciences, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries, preferably Lab Diagnostics).
• Certification in project management preferred.
