Role Summary: I.T. Commodity Specialist

This junior-level role is ideal for an ambitious professional ready for the next step in their career. As an I.T. Commodity Specialist, you will play a crucial part in supporting the acquisition of IT products for both internal and external use.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the acquisition of IT products (hardware, software, and services) for both internal and external use.
• Develop, communicate, and implement commodity and pooling strategies by fostering cross-functional partnerships to ensure cost-effectiveness, innovation, and alignment with business objectives.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers while staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, run Procurement processes, and conduct negotiations to achieve optimum conditions and savings through collaborative, targeted activities.
• Collaborate with Legal, Cybersecurity, and Data Privacy teams to mitigate contractual risks and ensure compliance with company policies, staying informed about changes in the regulatory landscape.
• Perform Supplier Management by addressing issues and identifying opportunities for improvement, particularly in Supplier Development, to onboard the best suppliers and ensure an optimum supply chain.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 0 - 2 years’ working experience, with IT commodity management experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to understand and communicate complex topics with simplicity.
• Quick to learn, result-oriented, and self-driven.
• B.S. in Business (Supply Chain Management preferred) or Engineering.
