Overview
As Head of Quality Management Global Customer Operations at Siemens Energy, you report directly to the GCO management and drive topics such as risk and opportunity management in engineering, supplier, and project management. Your role focuses on continuous improvement of processes, tools, and knowledge along the value chain from product development and bidding to project execution. You foster customer value orientation, systematic improvement and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the GCO QM team with clear communication.
- Maintain and improve quality and safety culture ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Drive nuclear readiness and apply the Critical to Quality approach.
- Utilize digitalization and AI to evaluate improvement sources.
- Collaborate across Siemens Energy to manage supplier-related risks.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or industrial engineering and over 10 years of experience in engineering, project management, business excellence, and quality management in the energy industry. A solid understanding of management system standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is required. Auditor certification, Lean certification, and experience in organizational change management are advantageous. Excellent communication skills with intercultural sensitivity and fluency in English are essential. The role requires 20% travel, both domestically and internationally.
