About the Product Manager Intern, AI Agent & Chatbot Intelligence Role at Shopee

As a Product Manager Intern, you’ll support the team in building and improving next-gen AI agent products that empower both customers and human agents.
Job Description
- Support the end-to-end development of chatbot and AI-agent features, from ideation to testing and iteration
- Assist in designing workflows that allow human agents to review, correct, and improve AI responses (e.g. feedback loops, annotations)
- Work closely with engineers, data, operations, and designers to support AI-driven product features
- Help track and analyze product metrics such as chatbot performance, deflection rate, and CSAT impact
- Contribute to chatbot lifecycle activities such as training data preparation, intent analysis, and knowledge base updates
- Conduct user, agent, or process research to better understand behaviour and pain points
- Stay curious about GenAI trends (LLMs, prompting, agent systems) and help translate insights into product ideas
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Psychology, Business, or related fields)
- Strong interest in AI products, conversational AI, or human-AI interaction
- Comfortable working with data, metrics, and user behaviour insights
- Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Prior experience with AI, LLMs, or product work is a plus, but not required
