Job Overview

Shopee is seeking a Data Analyst Intern - Listing and Content to apply advanced data analytical skills in detecting problematic listings and violations within the content ecosystem, including livestreams and videos. This role supports risk mitigation and ensures a seamless user experience on the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Devise effective detection strategies for problematic listings.
  • Develop dashboards and automated reports to track efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with product and Data Science teams to enhance detection models.
  • Design and review operational processes for productivity and quality improvements.
  • Analyze seller pain points and optimize the listing upload journey.
  • Project manage the rollout and adoption of new initiatives and features.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related field with strong analytics focus.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, with experience in SQL and/or Python.
  • A passion for utilizing data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
  • Strong curiosity and ability to derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration and management presentations.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders in dynamic environments.
  • Interest in designing operational processes and systems.
  • Availability for full-time (3-6 months) or part-time (minimum 3 working days a week) internship engagement.
