As a Data Analyst Intern - Listing and Content at Shopee, you will apply advanced data analytical skills to play a crucial role in safeguarding the platform and ensuring an excellent user experience. This involves devising effective detection strategies to identify problematic listings and violations within the Shopee content ecosystem, including livestream and video content, thereby mitigating risk for the platform.

You will be instrumental in developing dashboards and automated reports to monitor operational efficiency, assess strategy effectiveness, and track agent productivity. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with Product and Data Science teams to support the development of advanced models for more accurate and comprehensive detection of issues.

A significant part of your role will involve designing and reviewing operational processes to drive productivity and quality improvements among listing and content agents. You will also conduct deep dives into sellers' pain points during their listing upload journey to optimize user experience. Furthermore, you will project manage the rollout and adoption of new initiatives and features, which includes coordinating testing, developing training material, and reporting and tracking the impact across various Shopee markets.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or other subjects with a strong analytical component.
• Strong data analytical skills are essential, with proficiency in SQL and/or Python being highly desirable.
• A passion for utilizing data to drive informed decision-making and improve processes.
• Strong curiosity to understand the “whys” and “hows” behind data, and the ability to develop the “so-what” that will help shape policies, initiatives, and features.
• Strong communication skills are required for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear presentation of findings to management.
• Experience collaborating and working with multiple stakeholders from across various teams and levels.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment to drive business goals and make a significant impact.
• An interest in designing operational processes and systems.
• Full-time interns preferred (3-6 months), but part-time interns who can commit at least 3 working days a week are also welcome to apply.
