Job Description
About the Role: Business Intelligence - Strategy and Projects at Shopee
Contribute to Shopee’s growth objectives by enhancing user experience, optimizing spending/P&L, and determining the necessary resources to achieve these goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop test plans, conduct ad hoc analyses, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to improve business performance.
- Present findings and recommendations to management through clear written and oral communication.
- Drive special projects and A/B tests leveraging cross-departmental resources, owning the post-mortem analysis and recommendations.
- Coordinate the standardization of data metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) utilizing business process and data knowledge.
- Develop processes to enhance Business Intelligence (BI) tools and systems, ensuring reporting consistency.
- Collaborate with other functional teams to promote optimization of strategy, data, and product operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Accounting related field is preferred.
- Preferably 2-3 years of related work experience.
- Experience in user-related strategies, user growth analytics, and video analytics is advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Slides, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
- SQL is not a mandatory requirement but would be highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated curiosity to learn about the business and initiative to drive projects.
- Strong numerical skills, an analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- This position requires physical presence in the office 4 days a week (subject to policy changes).
