About the Role

The Business Development Reporting and Analytics Specialist at Shopee is responsible for developing ad hoc analyses or reports, communicating insights to business teams, and capturing both high-level and detailed requirements through cross-departmental interviews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and update reports with a focus on accuracy.
  • Collaborate with various departments to capture detailed requirements.
  • Support Business Intelligence reporting infrastructure and assist users.
  • Standardize data metrics using deep knowledge of data and business processes.
  • Act as a liaison between Shopee PH and BI technical engineers.
  • Identify automation opportunities through various technologies.
  • Continuously learn and improve reporting tools and systems processes.
  • Manage and maintain Service Level Agreements with third-party companies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, IT or related field.
  • At least one year of relevant experience in data analysis.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and SQL (Python a plus).
  • Detail-oriented with proven project management capabilities.
  • Flexible work arrangements during campaign/peak seasons.
