Overview

The National Account Manager - Designer Fragrance acts as the interface between the brands across Designer Fragrance and nominated National Accounts Groups. The role focuses on achieving agreed wholesale targets through effective communication and strategic planning, thereby maximising business potential.

Mission

To manage key national retail accounts by driving growth, profitability, and long-term relationships using a structured, data-led approach in the fast-paced beauty environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • National Accounts Strategy: Lead and develop annual business plans; collaborate with Marketing for events and exclusives.
  • Stock and Events: Manage stock replenishment, maintain par levels, negotiate increases, and oversee marketing programme sell-in.
  • Retail and Wholesale Budgets: Achieve targets, monitor and forecast performance, tailor activities to maximise business potential.
  • Communications: Ensure effective communication between brand management, field sales teams and National Account Groups.
  • Additional Duties: Ensure operational efficiencies, address merchandising needs, monitor competitor activity, and serve as point of contact for eRetail activations.

Profile, Skills and Experience Required

Candidates should have strong experience at National Account Manager level with proven commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and P&L management. FMCG experience, especially within multichannel and high street retail, is essential. The role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, a data-driven mindset, proficiency in Excel, and proven time management.
