Job Overview
The Technical Account Manager at Shippo is a key member of our Partnerships & Accounts team. In this role, you will work remotely to support strategic partnerships by onboarding, educating, and troubleshooting technical issues around our API integrations, workflows, and product features.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Support partners by leveraging deep knowledge of Shippo’s API and integrations.
- Manage high-severity incidents in collaboration with the Engineering team.
- Monitor partner usage with data analysis tools and set up alerts.
- Advocate for partner technical needs and represent them internally.
- Lead technical presentations and provide clear, concise troubleshooting guidance.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in technical account management within e-commerce, SaaS, or marketplace platforms.
- Strong experience with API integrations, debugging, and technical workflow analysis.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools like Databricks or Looker.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical leaders.
- Ability to independently manage incident and problem resolution.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience in e-commerce platforms and marketplace dynamics.
- Knowledge of shipping logistics and programming languages (NodeJS, Python, Java, C#, etc.).
- Background in dynamic startup environments.

Compensation
The base pay for this role ranges from $96k to $130k annually, with a midpoint of $113k. Total compensation includes equity and additional benefits as outlined in our Shippo package.

Shippos In The Wild
This role is remote-first. While you can be based anywhere in the US (with a few state exceptions) or internationally, employment contracts outside the US and Ireland are managed via Remote.com.
