Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Technical Writer with strong exposure to the IT / Technology domain. The ideal candidate should have expertise in creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation for software products, systems, processes, and IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation such as user manuals, SOPs, process guides, release notes, KB articles, and training materials.
- Work closely with Developers, QA, Product Managers, and IT teams to gather technical information.
- Convert complex technical concepts into simple user-friendly content.
- Prepare API documentation, workflows, installation guides, and troubleshooting documents.
- Ensure version control and documentation consistency.
- Review content for clarity, grammar, formatting, and compliance standards.
- Support internal knowledge management and documentation repositories.
- Update documents based on product changes and releases.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in IT / Software domain.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in documentation tools such as MS Word, Confluence, SharePoint, MadCap, Adobe tools, etc.
- Ability to understand software development lifecycle and IT processes.
- Strong attention to detail and editing skills.
- Experience with process mapping / flowcharts preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of API / cloud / infrastructure documentation.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
