Desktop Project Manager at Shine.com
Shine.com is seeking a proactive and experienced Desktop Project Manager to oversee end-to-end desktop and End-User Computing (EUC) projects. This role is crucial for managing various IT initiatives, including hardware refreshes, software deployments, and OS migrations, ensuring seamless operations and timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end desktop/EUC projects such as Windows rollouts, hardware refreshes, and software deployments.
- Plan project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation effectively.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal IT teams, external vendors, and key stakeholders.
- Lead Operating System (OS) migration projects, including upgrades from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
- Ensure the smooth deployment of desktops, laptops, and related peripherals.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively address issues.
- Oversee the IT asset lifecycle, from procurement and deployment to decommissioning.
- Ensure all project activities comply with IT security policies and company standards.
- Conduct regular status meetings and prepare comprehensive project reports.
