Job Description

Job Purpose

The Company is seeking a highly motivated, self-starter for the role of Clinical Accreditation Manager at Shields Health Solutions. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, positive, detail focused, and capable of working under deadlines while helping hospital pharmacy partners achieve URAC and ACHC Accreditations.

Job Duties

This role involves leading accreditation survey readiness programs for ACHC and URAC accreditations. Responsibilities include:

  • Performing gap analyses.
  • Preparing compliant policy and procedure manuals.
  • Submitting URAC Desktop submissions via AccreditNet.
  • Assisting with ACHC Customer Central setup and PER Checklist submissions.
  • Facilitating survey readiness activities such as mock audits, training, and corrective action plans.
  • Participating in Quality Management Committees and projects.
  • Coordinating onsite survey activities including agenda setting, task assignment, and document preparation.

Ongoing Accreditation Support

Additional duties include revising policies and procedures per updated standards, providing training on changes, acting as the subject matter expert, tracking improvement opportunities, and developing tools for efficient accreditation compliance. The role also includes attending educational workshops and webinars hosted by URAC and ACHC.

Experience and Education

Candidates must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or an equivalent advanced degree and be a licensed Pharmacist. A Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of pharmacy experience is required. Prior accreditation experience is preferred. The candidate must be detail oriented, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and be capable of managing multiple projects.
