Your Contribution to Success
The Project Management Office (PMO) ensures excellence in executing numerous corporate and innovation projects at Sherweb. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting senior project managers by gathering necessary resources and information for upcoming projects. You will contribute to the coordination and implementation of various project-related tasks, ensuring smooth progress and objective achievement. Your responsibilities are diverse, encompassing everything needed to keep projects on track and aligned with their goals.
Daily Responsibilities
- Project Support: Assist project managers in planning, executing, and finalizing projects, including managing schedules, resources, and budgets.
- Coordination: Facilitate communication and coordination among team members, stakeholders, and clients. Schedule and organize project meetings, preparing agendas and minutes.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change requests. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible, and prepare progress reports for management.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor project progress and performance. Prepare and distribute project status reports, highlighting key indicators and potential issues.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and track project issues and risks. Collaborate with project managers and team members to develop and implement solutions.
- Resource Management: Assist in managing project resources, coordinating with suppliers, tracking resource utilization, and ensuring availability of necessary content and materials.
- Quality Control: Support quality assurance processes, ensuring project deliverables meet required standards and client expectations.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the project team, including document preparation, correspondence, and organizing project-related activities.
- Collaboration: Work with business leaders and experts across departments to define project scope, effort estimation, costs, timeline, and risks.
- Project Leadership: Lead parallel projects, creating and maintaining project/program dashboards and documents (e.g., task tracking, risk register, assumptions, dependencies, budget, resources).
- Planning & Management: Drive the planning, organization, and management of activities. Ensure projects stay on track and identify risks early.
- Communication: Provide regular project updates (scope, budget, timeline) and escalate issues as needed. Present projects or programs to executive leaders.
What You Need for This Role

- Proficiency in oral and written communication (English and French).
- Excellent general skills: communication, teamwork, critical thinking, adaptability, and resourcefulness.
- Business acumen: Goal-oriented with perseverance, positive attitude, open-mindedness. Views problems as opportunities and possesses strong analytical skills.
- University degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in project/program management and/or project coordination.
- Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in change management is an asset.
