Overview

The Strategic Intelligence Manager is responsible for delivering actionable insights to inform executive decision-making, long-term planning, and competitive positioning. This role leads the development and execution of intelligence frameworks and partners with senior stakeholders to anticipate risks and opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing

The Strategic Intelligence Manager will:

  • Lead the strategic intelligence function by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting internal and external data.
  • Manage a team of Intelligence Analysts and/or Data Specialists.
  • Oversee intelligence capabilities for Trading & Supply Financial Crime Operations and provide due diligence reports.
  • Monitor geopolitical, economic, regulatory, and technological trends through horizon scanning and scenario planning.
  • Develop and present intelligence briefings, dashboards, and visualizations tailored to executive leadership.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex financial crime issues and advise on Suspicious Activity Reports.
  • Collaborate with business, risk, and compliance teams to mitigate financial crime risks.
  • Drive innovation in intelligence using AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
  • Support market and regulatory monitoring with technical tools and updated compliance frameworks.
  • Exhibit leadership, strong communication, and integrity across the organization.

What You Bring

Candidates should have extensive experience in intelligence, data analysis, or strategic planning, with a preference for government intelligence agency background. Experience in the Financial Crime sphere along with proven skills in data interpretation, trend identification, and stakeholder management is required. A background in intelligence studies, public policy, international relations, or political science is advantageous.
