Job Description

Role Overview

As a Marketing Advisor - Gas Marketing at Shell, you support the Gas Marketing team in identifying potential customers, building the sales funnel, and managing key accounts from origination through contract execution and post-deal management. You provide trading support including counterparty onboarding, deal entry, post-deal activities, stakeholder coordination, and preparation of communications and presentations.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will:

  • Support the Marketing Team across pre- and post-deal activities including KYC onboarding, deal entry, contract drafting, credit security management, and coordination with Commercial Operations and Finance.
  • Assist in negotiations and structuring of commercial agreements and physical transactions such as LNG, Gas, Regasification, and Pipeline deals.
  • Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) portal with current key account information.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and proactively refine them to improve speed, simplicity, and efficiency.
  • Manage record keeping and documentation to meet compliance standards.
  • Execute deal entries and oversee post-deal contract management activities.
  • Build and maintain strong external relationships with customers, suppliers, transporters, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Commercial Operations, Power, and Regulatory teams to support new business development and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct research, manage stakeholder expectations and support cross-functional commercial discussions.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience in the midstream gas/LNG business and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Commerce (postgraduate in Management preferred). You must have high numeracy, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience with commercial agreements. Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce, and a basic understanding of ETRM systems are valuable. A self-starter mindset, ability to multi-task, collaborate, and resilience in navigating complex negotiations are essential.
